There are over 150 chapters in the Bible that are primarily about the last 7 years leading up to the return of Jesus. The generation that lives through the last 7 years of earth and heaven being separated is the last transitional generation. God is in the process of rejoining heaven and earth through a brilliant process worked out over more than 6,000 years. This process happens over three transitional generations: the generation of Moses, the generation of Jesus, and the Revelation generation. In each transition, God progressively opens heaven to earth...that is what will happen in the final 7 years, quickly and dramatically heaven will open and things previously unseen will manifest more and more in the physical realm. The final push will be when Jesus splits the sky at His coming, not to gather up his people and take them away to some other place, but to bring heaven to earth. Heaven is wherever God is, and Jesus is coming to prepare the earth for the return of the Father. He does this in agreement with His spouse...His Bride...us! Each transition has marked the time when God shed more glory from heaven on earth...progressively. The first transition, the transition that happened during Moses lifetime, brought understanding of Gods designed pattern of life, called the law to mankind. This was lost or forgotten at the fall. Mankind was always intended to live face to face with God with an open heaven manifesting in the physical realm. This is what God called very good. When heaven is open, people live holy...you have to, because Gods consuming brightness will destroy any darkness. If there is darkness in you, the light of Gods presence destroys you. That is why God separated heaven (where He is in infinite light) from earth (where we temporarily dwell in some measure less than infinite). God gave the law to demonstrate to mankind how we live in ways less than we were designed to. Anyone who desired to live in the fullness of Gods design...which would allow more of His glory to touch them without damaging them...was shown the pattern...the underlying formula...for living in perfect agreement with God. Knowing the pattern is different than being able to live it out, though! Galatians 3:19 Why, then, was the law given? It was given alongside the promise to show people their sins. But the law was designed to last only until the coming of the child who was promised. God gave his law through angels to Moses, who was the mediator between God and the people. During this first transitional generation heaven opened in dramatic ways: the sea was split and Gods people walked across on dry ground, a pillar of fire led and protected the people by night and a pillar of cloud by day. Gods glory cloud descended visibly on the mountain, and Moses face glowed with glory from being in the presence of God...food from the sky, water from rocks...a transitional generation is DIFFERENT than the previous generation....more is given, and more is required from them. Moses generation was supposed to live different, because much was shown to them. A transitional generation advances the holiness...the level of agreement with God...Gods people are meant to live in: Luke 12:48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. Moses generation responded poorly. They were counted as unfaithful and it cost them. They were expected to trust God for provision and direction, but they resisted Him for 40 years...wanting to go back, envying their former lives as slaves bound to pharaoh, rather than celebrating their miraculous deliverance and close proximity to God. That generation did not enter into the promised rest. Even Moses was prevented from entering the promised land. Much is expected from a transitional generation...there is much on the line. The second transitional generation was the generation of Jesus. Dramatically more was given to mankind in the second transitional generation. Jesus came to make possible not just knowing the law, but actually fulfilling it, by grace...grace to increase in agreement with God day by day...choice by choice...to die to self, and let Jesus, by the indwelling Spirit, actually train up minds, wills, and emotions to obey the law. Jesus didnt come to cancel the law, but to enable all who desired to ask for it...to train their desire on it...to begin walking in the heavenly pattern of life Adam was designed for! Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, Matthew 5:17-19 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. More was given and heaven was opened...walking on water, water to wine, demons cast out, mass healing, food multiplied. Heaven didnt just open for the community of Gods people as it did in Moses generation, but touched individual lives daily. MUCH MORE was given, but much more was required. Those who responded..the 11 faithful disciples...the 120 in the upper room. They literally changed the world, but it cost many their physical lives, which they gladly gave. This was a faithful generation, and 120 of them literally changed the entire world forever! The last transitional generation is our generation! MUCH MORE WILL BE GIVEN TO THIS GENERATION! The Book of Revelation describes the third transition as the Book of Exodus, combined with the Book of Acts, on a global level. The greatest stories are yet to be written...starring you and I IF we say yes! to Jesus plan and get ready! Jesus said this: John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. By the gift of the helper...the indwelling Spirit, given at the close of that second transition, the third transitional generation will live in the increasing fullness of heaven opening...mankind agreeing with God. Through the increased intensity of that third generation, the desire for the world will pass and the desire for what God called very good in Eden will overtake the hearts of His people. To live is Christ, to die my gain will be the heart cry of the third transitional generation. Rather than a few living in this reality, the purifying of Gods people through tribulation will result in an entire generation of wholehearted spotless lovers of Jesus declaring the same thing as Paul: Philippians 1:21-24 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. This will result in heaven progressively opening until angels and demons are visibly manifest, food is provided, water, direction, provision, and protection is lavishly released to all those in agreement with Jesus. The Spirit wont just be given, but POURED OUT on everyone who names the name of Jesus. To speak will be to prophesy, to pray will be to heal, to ask will be to be given. This is because the agreement the transition brings will release a oneness with God like the Son, who prayed perfect prayers. Jesus spouse, who shares in His inheritance, will live like her groom. This reflection of Jesus in His Bride will bring a witness to earth...to the most perverse generation of world lovers...that Jesus is from the Father and the only way back to very good. Everyone will get what they want in the end! John 17:23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
