There are people (some of whom friends or acquaintances) who will never agree or see your point either out of sheer stupidity, ignorance and/or just plain prejudice. I have come to accept that there is no point engaging them because you end up feeling defeated by all the negativity. So just let them be, wish them well and send them on their way with the hope that someday, they might see the light, however unlikely it may seem now.
