There are people who afraid we already are not the greatest country in the world or soon will not be. It concerns me also. There are countries with better high school math scores, a better infant mortality rate, etc., etc.. But ask yourself what country in the history of man has accomplished more. We build amazing things, we invent amazing stuff, we feed most of the world while farming less than half the land available to be farmed. We are always there to help when there is a disaster. Remember the Tsunami on that Island country? Who shows up immediately? The American Red Cross and US Navy ships to transport goods. It was not the British Red Cross or the Japanese navy, it was us. The US is not perfect. But it still the greatest country on Earth. I dont think it would bother Obama at all, in fact I think he believes it is wrong for us to the greatest, wealthiest, most powerful country in the world. What! Can you imagine what Ronald Reagan would have said in rebuttal had he heard Obama say, when he gave his acceptance speech, America is the greatest country in the world, I hope you will join me in radically changing it. I knew right then this guy was crazy and we were in for a bad ride. Proud of my country, ashamed of my government.
