There are people who would dismiss each and every clip in this video as one-of instances that were recorded for the purposes of propaganda or that the victims are somehow to blame because we werent there or we couldnt possibly know what happened... They will literally use their own ignorance to excuse violent behavior if the aggressor is wearing a badge. On the other hand, those clips of cops pulling people over and giving them presents & money around Christmas season arent propaganda at all. Yeah... Riiight... I think it is a combination of both sides. There ARE many if not a majority of police who believe that what they are doing is for the betterment of their community & there ARE many cases where police go out of their way to help people in need. There are ALSO increasingly numerous examples of physical abuse and injustice that are committed by many police officers, and many if not a vast majority of police officers see this happening and they dont do anything to stop it or worse, they step in to help their fellow officers restrain the victims (yknow.. to protect themselves from possible resistance). From my perspective, the meat & potatoes of the issue isnt whether or not police brutality occurs on a regular basis in the United States, but rather whether or not they are being held accountable in the same way that any other human being would be. The verdict has shown time & time again that the cards are stacked in favor of the police in the vast majority of cases. The Justice system in place today does not seem interested in holding itself accountable, and why should it?! This is the sad reality that few can bear to see of what happens when you have a single entity that holds a monopoly on force, law and so-called justice. I guess ignorance is bliss, right?.. :( https://youtube/watch?v=BM2Jh2P_be4
