There are quite a few reasons I enjoy being a part of a veterans organization like the VFW and one of my favorites is going out and talking to kids about our experiences (rated G of course). Tonight, I was invited out to our local Cub Scout meeting to talk to the kids of Pack 52. I brought in a bunch of my old Army gear for the kids to play with and talked about what it means to be a veteran. Afterwards they created these great thank you cards in preparation for Veterans Day. Great job and thank you Pack 52!
