There are some really cool things happening at the fairgrounds. Last night the Non-Typical Shooters (Archery) 4-H Club had a practice in the Crops Barn. They have added two side ventilation windows in the barn by the seating area. It added a great deal of natural light in the barn and when the days are warmer I am sure some much need breeze. Further down the Kountry Kids 4-H club were practicing for the horse drill team. They all looked great out there. On the west side if the Feeder Barn lots of people were working on adding a tie bar to tie out animals. The rabbit superintendents were setting up their area which is going to look different than in years past. They Have also built new show tables. This is just a snapshot taken at one evening at the fairgrounds. So many things happen to get ready for the fair. The place really comes alive this time of year. The strong sense of community is alive and well at the Gratiot County Fair for Youth!
