There are thousands of children in our country who lead a vagabond life. In absence of parents or guardians, they roam around aimlessly, do manual works here and there – at railway stations, brick kilns, restaurants, small time hotels, tea shops and at other such places to get their squares meals a day. In absence of any permanent abode, they are destined to spend their nights either at footpath, railway stations and at other such places which are incompatible to human dignity. Realizing their precarious living conditions, Shri Sadguru Datt Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust has started Suryoday Gyan Rath Scheme in Aurangabad dist of Maharashtra where these children apart from being imparted education ,are given professional training for their self-employment so as to enable them to live with dignity.
