There are times when the Lord finds Himself standing before closed doors, as it were, namely when our belief in the help of God has waned. This could be the case in the following situations : 1) We feel abandoned by the Lord due to unjust treatment @ work....or by loosing a job. 2) We are no longer receptive to the Lord because of discord in our marriage or a tense family situation. 3) We feel excluded from the blessing of God on account of financial need or illness. 4)We no longer feel loved by the Lord because we have the impression that we are not accepted by the concregation. 5) We no longer focus on the goal of our faith due to the apparent failure of the Lord to return. All these things prevent us from opening ourselves to the Lord! We resist believing in Him with every fibre of our being. But then we experience no power is able to hold back the Prince of Peace! For the Lord of life there are no limitations!
