There are times when the Lord will bless you just to test you. It’s when you begin to strut like a peacock with pride that the Lord makes the determination as to whether you are prepared for the next round of blessings. Many are stuck on the first round because pride has settled in. It has blocked them from receiving anything else from the Lord’s hand. They had no idea that He had a greater thing in store for them so they became content in that ‘little’ place, turned their behind to the Lord, and unconsciously shut the door on the next place in God.
