There are times when we feel we found new friends, Friends with similar intentions, similar directions, Friends who we think could be the best of friends, Friends who we believe could replace the ones that we left to chase our dreams, Friends who we think could stop this feeling, The feeling of missing them so badly, Missing that moment where we laugh and cry together, Forgetting that we are not related, no blood ties. There are times, We think our lives are again in order having new friends, We think we could be ourselves again as we were with the old ones, We think the new ones could accept us as the old ones did, We think the new ones would understand our jokes and cynical remarks like the old ones did, And we think the new ones could make us happier... Today I realised how wrong and stupid I was, I realised, The best of friends are irreplaceable, The best of friends can never be forgotten, The best of friends can never be chased away, The best of friends will always be in our hearts and minds, For the memories are too precious to be ignored.. I realised, The best of friends can never be the worst of friends, They are the one that I left to be here, The one that I left to grab every single opportunities there is..
