There are too many labels in the world, and not enough music from the Baltic States. Those that are actively unleashing music to the world are fighting for the artists as well as music lovers. The first have the right to be heard, the latter need to fuel their love. To direct your attention to the thankworthy activities and people behind them, we are launching a feature series by Tristan Priimägi called FRONT LINE: Guide Into Baltic Record Labels. The first imprint to be featured is one of the most lucrative on the scene. With over 30 releases over the last 3 years, Trash Can Dance is a record label that deserves every bit of credit. From putting out tracks that have been sitting in the drawer for 30 years, to being the guiding light in obscure musical findings, TCD’s contribution to the music scene is invaluable. We’ve gathered a lot of information to the feature story. In addition to the intro and interview, turn your attention to the review sidebar and 12 music suggestions by the label head himself. Take your time and meet Trash Can Dance!
