There are two classroom buildings at the school campus where I - TopicsExpress

There are two classroom buildings at the school campus where I live. One of them was built about four years ago. The other is older, and was converted from some other use. The newer of the two had a problem. The back of the classrooms has a long window, and the roof overhang isnt long enough to keep the rain, when its driven from the north in the late monsoon season, from blowing all the way to the front of the room. It renders the building useless. Everything is wet. Schools out. In this past month, Ive been filling Soreal and Moerns downtime with prefabricating these wood brackets, cutting fiberglass roofing, prepping the openings. Before I realized how quickly they were getting it done, Soreal came to me and said, Dom-bul sa-laa ree-un is OK, Frank. In our invented language, that actually conveys a lot of information. It means that the classroom roof project is finished, and he has no concerns about it. Its respectable. Its good. It works. This was a garden-variety good deed. This was a fish in a barrel. I never once had to worry about rain in my classroom when I was in grade school. This just flat-out wasnt right. . . . . . . . . We fixed this human thing with donated money. https://tinyurl/littlecirclecambodia
