There are two kinds of people in social media - 1. The Creators of content 2. The Consumers of content These two types of people share, in most cases, a symbiotic relationship. The Creators create content for the entertainment and education of the consumers. In most cases, the creators get no tangible returns from the consumers, except words of appreciation and symbolic rewards in the form of Facebook currencies - Likes, Shares and Comments. However, social media and the invention of copy-paste has given rise to an entirely new species - The Thieves. The Thieves find it convenient to copy-paste content and claim it as their own. The Consumers in most cases do not care about where the content comes from. They simply use the stolen content for the purpose of their entertainment and education and move on, thereby making it a parasitic relationship, which is grossly undesirable and deplorable. As of today, almost every single post created by The Anonymous Writer gets stolen. This is a never ending battle, and like Batman and Joker, perhaps we are destined to fight forever. What we expect from the Consumers (that is YOU) is to play the role expected from you and help us preserve the ownership of our content. How can you help us? 1. By letting us know about the content-theft. 2. By avoiding pages that are known for posting stolen content. 3. By promoting pages that create original content. We know you love us. Now its time to help us set a few things right. ~ Abhijit
