There are two kinds of stupid. First, theres the Kim & Kanye kind of stupid — the kind of stupid that comes from not knowing any better. (And interacting with books only when using them as coasters.) And then there is the kind of stupid that comes from too much grad school. This case appears to be the latter sort. The kind of stupid that comes from not testing ideas you read in books against the real world. The worst thing about these bourgeois dolts is that they seem like the sort of people who would advocate for draconian square footage caps on private residences, in order to achieve their neo-Rousseauian pipe dream of living in the best of all possible worlds.
