There are very few people in my life like Amy Coleman. Tomorrow my daughter turns 27...please allow me to brag a little. You see, Amy arrived on this planet 2 months early, barely 3.5 LBS, and as Dr Kim stated, in a complicated state of continuous seizures. I was told by six doctors on a snowy day in Atlanta in 1988 that Amy had a 50/50 chance of surviving the next 72 HRS and if Amy survived to prepare for a worst case quality of life for Amy. There are numerous examples of Gods power, grace, and mercy I could share in the margins of year one to year 27 but I will sum them all up in these next few words. I am the work in progress and man I am today because God allowed me his time with my daughter. I know what it is and what it aint because I have and continue to experience truth in love from a gentle spirit and human being. Happy Birthday Amy. With tears in my eyes, carry on and continue to pass the flame of Gods love through your life. May you never be broken again, God speed.
