There arent enough nuclear families in our communities anymore, especially for the young kids. People cant stay focused and are so impatient. Wont commit and work together. Not willing to sacrifice or compromise. Looking for greener grass or a bigger *** lol. We need each other but for some reason, we are driven by wants. J Cole said it best, LOVE YOURS! Love your life. Imagine how economically stronger we would be if we would all just BE! We point out all the other issues, but no one wants to touch this one. No matter how good we are to our children, the household suffers when families dont try. And you dont have to BE together to WORK together as a household, but that means your effort has to be even greater! Just saying, its simple math! And of course some situations just dont work out, and thats cool, but when you have 70 percent of children being raised in single parent homes by a mom or a dad in Newark, one must question our vision. Something needs to change. Like, everyone cant be that bad.
