There arent enough words to say how proud we are of my hometown friend, David Bishop, and his part in this years fire season in the 6,000 acre Deception Creek Complex. David appears second from left in the photo and has been on this fire hour after hour, day after day, week after week. I am in awe of the determination to maintain his level of work in the most trying of areas. At 62, its nearly unheard of to continue at his level. But when you need the best, you call on the best.
