There comes a time in a persons life when they resign themselves to the fact that they cant do the same amount of work they use to. Your body has a way of telling you this. Gone are the days, well we wont go into such long drawn out examples, but once again I took a stab at trying to get my yard cleared of small limbs, hundreds of pine cones and much pine straw. The best I could muster was four hours. Thankful that I lived on a country road so no one could see me crawl to the front porch ( I felt like it but didnt) I figured if I did a little each day, I could finish it up at the same time I re-hung the Christmas lights. Ha! I am thankful that Im even able to get out and rake. Sometimes I have to laugh at myself though. Life will teach you, sometimes the lessons are painful, but once learned one is wiser.
