There comes a time in all rescues when dogs have to be put to sleep. Thats never the end we want after all we save these dogs from dying. Blue who was put to sleep was due to parvo virus which was caught whilst in an Emergency Boarding Facility, Marshall who had visited our behaviourist and after seeking advice from a vet a decision was made he was beyond help and was constantly biting, this was not a quick decision and the family who had and loved Marshall will verify this. Both decisions were made, the 1st for obvious reasons as the vet said blue was beyond help and Marshall after behaviourist and vet advice. If anyone would like to verify both its not a problem. Marie Duggan one of our ex admin has shared screenshots from our old admin chat and passed them to john Duxbery of sasd. Those screenshots are now on his wall. The decision to pts any dog is always an awful one and the screenshot gives the thoughts of one of our current admin members. We could have quite easily have shut the doors, at the time the 3 remaining admin were busy, work, baby, leaving pretty much one to deal with everything. If anyone would like further clarification on this matter please dont hesitate to contact me. This is just another twisted back handed dirty trick by Marie and John.
