There exist in all known cultures and civilizations, certain intrinsic values that serve as the guiding principles in the sphere of morality. This means that values give direction to human thoughts and actions in the society. In this vein, values such as justice, humility, courage, truth, happiness, love, solidarity, respect and so on, are seen by different scholars down the ages as d basis of morality.
