There has been a lot of discussion regarding the BoDs decision to not include Rapier and Archery like they do Heavy Combat. I took the time to read over the Articles of Incorporation to see if there is anything the members can do about this and unfortunately there isnt. Your paid membership amounts to nothing in terms of a vote or any kind of decision making in the SCA. Even though it is a Not for Profit company it is privately held and all decisions are made by the BoD made up of 5-7 people. The only means of protest you have is to withhold paying your membership dues as a group and if you have enough people do this then they might listen. After all lost revenue speaks louder than anything else.
