There has been a lot of public interest in the idea of daylight a portion of the Sawmill River in Dartmouth, between Sullivan’s Pond and Halifax Harbour. There are many issues related to this concept and still plenty of work to be done to determine how it could work and what the costs of various ideas would be. One thing I think we all agree on is that the more people talk about projects such as this, the more insight we all get on possible areas of concern or new ideas to consider. That’s why Im pleased to to host this public information Town Hall on daylighting the Sawmill River; I hope you can make it.
