There has been a lot of questions about playoffs, and it is at times confusing as there has been several formats in the history of the PL, but here is how it works, directly from the Prospect League site: TOURNAMENT. Post-Season play will begin immediately following the conclusion of the regular season. The day following the end of regular play, the first half winner and second half winner will play a best of three series. The series will open at the second half winner; games 2 & 3 (if necessary) will be hosted by the 1st half winner. If one team wins both halves, the team with the next best overall W/L record will play as the second half tem. There will be no travel days in the Division Series. The divisional winners will advance to the Championship Series. The Championship Series is a best of 3 format. Following a travel day after the divisional games, the 1st game will be hosted by the team representing the All-Star Game losing division. A travel day will follow. Games 2 & 3 (if necessary) will be hosted by the team representing the All-Star Game division winner.
