There has been an on going battle with the Waterbury Republican - TopicsExpress

There has been an on going battle with the Waterbury Republican with the African American and Latino communities for many years. Of course, I have been at the forefront of this controversy and when they saw the opportunity to silence me through my suspension from the Waterbury NAACP they jumped on it making it an international news story coming out Waterbury, Connecticut. You see this newspaper took out of context notes. I had alleged to have written on December 2, 2012 on my personal face-book page and without my knowledge or any confirmation by the reporter Mike Patrick who reported that i said, if the NAACP thinks for one minute they can my civil rights and get away with it, I have news for them and their highest leadership. The nerve of them to cover-up massive corruption in their thousands of branches across this country as they put their fingers on millions of corporate dollars to keep us enslaved in a welfare system so a few house negros [sic] can play God over our masses of people of color. Yes I said that after being set-up by two local and state leaders in our African American communities for the second time over branch finances and election procedures out of pure anger but in hindsight things seem to verify I was not very far off target. Since that report the Ben Jealous, President/CEO has resigned, Roger Vann, the COO has resigned and the Chief Financial Officer of the National Office has resigned very low key under the radar screen. Presently two Connecticut Branches are under suspension and have yet to reorganize and two branch presidents, charged with leading the reorganization efforts are nowhere to be found. In the meantime this newspaper has never reported on my suspension and appeals with the NAACP because their was never an official finding of the allegations issued to me or them, as the cover up of the improper practices of the Waterbury Branch continues today. You will see where the newspaper promised to clear this matter up and have yet to do so because of the far reaching implications involved with local, state and national officials. Read this debate between myself and the newspapers top editor.
