There has been lots of trade news regarding Minnesota Timberwolves Kevin Love. It is believed that Love wont start the season in a Timberwolves jersey but anything can happen. There has been two teams heavily pushing to get the sharp shooting big man onto there roster. Those two teams are the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors are already a playoff contender. The Cavs have made a huge splash in Free Agency and are easily a playoff contender. Both teams are looking to get over that hump to become a championship contender this year. Love is still only 25 yrs old and has the ability to improve. He is a top PF right now and is averaging double digit points and rebounds. But when a team wants an elite player, it doesnt come cheap. The Timberwolves have let both teams know who they want in a trade involving Love. They want either Andrew Wiggins of the Cavs or Klay Thompson from the Warriors. Both teams have made it clear they didnt want to trade that particular guy until this week. First the cavs budged and said theyd be willing to deal Wiggins. Shortly after, the warriors budged on Thompson. The Timberwolves have made it very clear they would take a deal with Thompson over Wiggins. So the big question is where will he end up?
