There has been some talk with the “Lap Sponsors” as they are coming to the finish line. We still have a lot of people willing to donate to the Harry Macy Memorial event and we don’t want to turn anyone away. Once all the Lap Sponsors have been filled, we will then be taking donations for Heat Sponsors, Hard Charger Awards, Hard Luck Awards, Farthest Driver Awards, as well as a few other things through out the night. We can not thank everyone enough for their support in this event. We have some meetings with some potential large sponsors coming up which could see the purse increase even more. Your donations will not go unnoticed. We will gladly add you to our media guide that is quickly taking shape, along with adding you to the television rebroadcast of the event. It’s our way of saying thanks for helping honor Harry. Also to insure that everyone has a chance at the Lap Sponsorship fund which is over $1,149 currently, ALL drivers who make the A-Main will pull a number at the end of the night when they pick up their payout. That number will coincide with the lap and sponsor of that lap, unless the sponsor chooses to do something different. We think this is a fair way as Harry always wanted to see everyone benefit from racing. We are also selling sponsor spots in our media guide that will be handed out at the track for a small fee depending on the size you would like. We also have a “Friends Of Harry” section that we will add a special message to those who did not sponsor a lap, but would still like to leave a message. The “Friends Of Harry” is a free section, just simply keep your message under 200 characters to insure ample space for everyone. We will also be talking with other local television stations in the Can-Am Midget viewing area, and the ATQMRA viewing area, as we have members of both groups interested in supporting the show, to see about expanding our viewing area. If you are at all interested in joining us for the event, send us an email with your racing information so we can add you to our media guide as well FREE of charge. It’s a great way to give back to your sponsors and get some media exposure.
