There has been something I have been mentioning to my Pine Grove - TopicsExpress

There has been something I have been mentioning to my Pine Grove friends in the last couple of months. Over the years events have happened between people that have had a negative outcome and been ongoing for literally years without resolve. Doesnt matter whether it was involving Pine Grove or between two of my Pine Grove friends. What I have noted is that both party’s continuously make a bad situation worse because of EGO. Neither side is willing to accept that they did or said Something that was out of line or apologize for their behavior. Its much easier to say F them. Then the other party says, Well F them. Well where does that get you? Us? So then you walk around having to avoid these people. It becomes uncomfortable for you as well as other people around you. Why must this exist? Ego? Pride? All it takes is a simple Hey man, Im really sorry I said that or did that. I was out of line. A smile, a handshake, a hug. Then it all goes away. Isnt that a much better way to be? The reason I am bringing this up right now is because I just received a phone call from a close Pine Grove friend that said I ran in to so and so on Saturday and told him, Hey, its time to put all of this behind us. This has been going on way too long. He apologized and got an appology back. He bought him a beer and all is good between them. I told him how proud I was of him and shared these same thoughts with him. Ive been around multiple tentions between people in this amazing family that I am so proud to be a part of. My hope is that we can all step up and make amends, even if you think you are the one that is owed an apology. Chances are that if you initiate, it will be reciprocated. We ALL need to get along. Put the past behind you. Stop carrying this shit around with you. Life is too short to walk around feeling like that. Let it go. It feels so much better. Thanks for listening.
