There have been a lot of comments, mostly negative over this list. I think many are missing the point that these are “influential winemakers”, not necessarily the most known or most powerful. And of course the list is very California centric and misses many influential winemakers in New York, Oregon, Washington, and elsewhere. Congratulations to the winemakers: Hardy Wallace, Abe Schroner, Ron Bitner, Paul Sloan, Daniel Daou, Dan Lee, Hank Beckmeyer, Morgan Twain-Peterson, Morgan Twain-Peterson, Maggie Harrison, Wes Hagen , Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Roberts, Andrew Quady. Dan Petroski, Tony Soter, Gary Eberle, Lynne Penner-Ash, Richard Sanford, Steve Matthiasson, Kris Curran, Bob Lindquist, Jim Clenenden, Randall Grahm, Peter Mondavi Jr. , Heley Turley, Paul Hobbs, Merry Edwards and all the great winemakers on this list:
