There have been a number of entries to residences in the Lakefront neighbourhoods while residents are at home. These incidents have taken place between midnight and 6 am. The suspects use unlocked doors including patio doors to gain entry into the homes. Once inside the suspects have stolen: purses, ipads, and computers. Suspects have been known to go well into the residence to find these items. • Protect yourself by ensuring all windows and doors are locked EVEN when you are inside your home. • If you observe any suspicious activity, please call 9 1 1. • If you have any information please call the Hamilton Police Service, Division 2, Criminal Investigation at 905 546-2907.
