There have been discussions in some quarters that Minority of Nigerians are craving to retire President Goodluck Jonathan, come February 14, 2014. The worry here has been that, no reasonable person will like to replace good with evil, replacing a strong man with a weak one, changing an intelligent and focused man with a stalk illiterate who cannot make a single coherent statement. You want to retire or replace a man that have reformed a near-rotten Nigeria with Buhari that is suffering with memory loss? Buhari that was a Governor of N/East Region, Oil Minister, Head of State and PTF chairman and there is no verifiable Project to his name. Buhari did not build a Nursery school anywhere in the country and never donated a book to any child in Nigeria. I will not blame him, One cannot give what he do not have. The claim that Buhari build 2 Refineries was the biggest lie of the century. You want to replace Gentle reformer, with his efforts and Gods help, for the first time in Nigerian History, 1] No one slept in filling station 3 to 4 days to get fuel during xmas. A liter of petrol was not sold by by hoarders at N250 as usual. 2] For the first time, no Nigerian was roasted alive in filling station during xmas. 3] The artificial fuel scarcity, abnormal fuel prices in the North are now History, as Train delivers fuels to their Depots. 4] The gap between the rich and the poor in the North is narrowed by Jonathan, as he empowers the Youth with Western Education and Islamic studies by Building 125 Almajiri schools for our children. Which Nigerian leader have envisioned of this fit? 5] Food prices did not go up during Christmas because we have enough suppliers (Govt funded Farmers), that matched the demand. 6] Historically, Prices NEVER go down in Nigeria, but a bag of rice in 2013 was about N11,750, but Jonathans Investment on Rice farmers and Rice mills, made it to go down to between N7,900 to N9,000 in 2014. NYSC allowance was jacked up by Jonathan from from N9,775.00 in 2011 to N39,800 [407% Increase] today. MORE>>> The train is back, our roads are no more death trap (Many are still under construction). FRSC data showed that Accident in Nigeria reduced from 26% to less 8% in 2014. Our Airports remodeled to International standard, University funding increased by 185% and Education budget increased by 200% in the last 4 years. Teaching Hospitals received huge funding for research. Nigerian Hospitals recorded first Kidney transplants, Open Heart Surgery in UITH, UNTH, safer Cancer screening and dialysis. Maternal mortality decreased to single digit, as the First Ladys initiatives attracted funds from Private sector to improve our Maternity Hospitals/Wards and Local Health centers. Nigeria recorded and Increase of Rice mills from 2 to 24 in 3 years. Rice importation reduced from 97% to less than 5%. Wheat importation decreased from 85% to about 52%. Cassava exports earns Nigerian farmers Nbillions since 2012. 13 car assembling and manufacturing companies relocated to Nigeria cos of Govt favorable economic policies. About 3.8 million Farmers registered on Fed Govt E-wallet scheme. 11 Energy companies (local and International) given Licence to generate Electricity in Nigeria. Majority of them are still constructing their Plants. 6 International Energy accessory companies (including GE) relocated to Nigeria. Jambites admission to Universities increased from 32% to 48% with the addition of 12 New Universities. AND MANY MORE. 55 years of decay in Nigeria is being repaired in 5 years and In all Honesty you want to VOTE Nigeria back to Darkness. What type of President will match Jonathan? Goodluck 2 You!!! - Chidi Calis photo.
