There have been four Nobel Prizes for malaria related research so far. None of them is African. How serious are we about solving our own problems? We import mosquito nets, chloroquine and now, ACT. We look to the West for help in all our problems. No. I didnt put that appropriately. We beg the West for help to solve all our problems. We need to wake up and smell the coffee. Oh! We even import coffee? That means even if we woke up and the West failed to supply coffee, we wouldnt know what time it is? We are stuck!
