There have been plenty of secrets, lies and revelations in Walford over the last few weeks, but they keep on coming. Charlie Cotton is rocked to his core when he uncovers a shocking secret about his parents that pushes their relationship to the brink of collapse. It couldn’t come as a worse time because Charlie is still unresponsive when it comes to spending time with his son even when he’s told that Roxy has temporarily named the baby. At the hospital, Roxy and Charlie sit with a doctor who suggests that following a second failed attempt, they should start preparing themselves for the possibility that Ronnie may never regain consciousness. Back at Dot’s, a guilty Yvonne looks on as Nick fuels Charlie’s anger and frustration by constantly reminding him that Phil is to blame for Ronnie’s situation. But Charlie is soon horrified when his mother has a few revelations to tell him and when he quizzes her about how long she has known, Yvonne lies – not wanting to let on about the part she played. Charlie confronts his dad who swears on the baby’s life that Yvonne is lying and as Nick slowly twists the situation Yvonne desperately tries to prove that she’s telling the truth. Who will Charlie believe? To make matters even worse, Aleks arrives in a panic and reveals that Ineta has disappeared and she has taken Charlie’s baby with her. Charlie springs into action and searches the Square looking for them. It doesn’t take him long to track them down and Charlie decides it’s time to take responsibility and bring his son home.
