There have been posts complaining about the health centre and that they are a joke. I would like to say the girls at the antenatal clinic basically saved me and my daughters lives not even 2 weeks ago. A routine appointment showed my blood pressure had skyrocketed and the midwife sent me to the Southern to be monitored as a precaution. I had an emergency section within 12 hours as I had developed pre-eclampsia. Our wee daughter was 8 weeks early, is doing extremely well in special care and we hope to have her home in a few weeks. For all the frustration when making appointments or even getting through to the HC, I cannot fault the girls at Antenatal for what they did for me. I have been very VERY lucky.
