There have been so many firsts lately, that Im really looking forward to a couple of seconds next week! First time Ive had to complete a National Ethics Application form (still a work in progress - it will take days); First time to meet Donna Meredith (Keystone Corporate Positioning and Interaction Associates); First time to discover that fingerless gloves actually do keep the tips of my fingers slightly warmer than without gloves; First time to visit the College of Law, 16th Floor 111 Elizabeth Street where there are fabulous training spaces for hire!; First time in a week to travel every day to different locations (Blackheath, Kingswood, Katoomba, Kingswood, Prospect, Sydney City); First time to actually connect to a solicitor Id been playing telephone tag with for 4 days; First time Ive not had to drive any child anywhere in 23 years; First time I ate out 5 days straight in the course of a fairly regular sort of week; First time I negotiated the rights to something special; First time to wear a fab new jacket that is my size this winter! The list could go on; needless to say Im feeling a bit pooped... but have to hang out for a little weekend off in another two weeks. Two more firsts coming next week - a haircut with Platinum Hair in Katoomba and Optometrist appointment with Eye Q at Lithgow! The SECONDS Im looking forward to next week are; 2nd time working with the admin team at Crestwood High; 2nd time to work with a new program group at Origin in Brisbane - Managing@Origin program. Much to do, many people to meet, much laughter and learning to be had. Feel very lucky to have such a great life! What are your FIRSTS and SECONDS?
