There is NO provision of law which prescribes that CONFESSIONS or ADMISSIONS should be made under oath KUNG HINDI they are NOT competent evidence. The fact that a confession was not sworn to before any officer authorized to administer oaths, does not render the statements inadmissible or without probative value. It is the fact that they are made by the accused AND AGAINST his OWN interest which gives them their evidentiary value, AND PROVIDED, the FACT is established, kahit made under oath or not ang nasabing pag-amin.
