There is NO technological advance that will help save the environment. The ONLY salvation for the environment of the planet is to downscale technology, stop breeding so much, and create societies that are based on equality and support, not division. All technology requires further use of natural resources, expansion and industry, ALL of which encroach on nature and destroy it. It is not gaining us anything but destroying our environment. Its a very simple equation.
