There is a NEW Multi-Media Art major at CAPA High School and the school is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 school year! This program teaches the art, science and technology of Television Production, Digital Film Making, Photography, Graphic Design, Web Design, Creative Writing and more. Using state-of-the-art digital technology, students will apply their knowledge to create quality media productions for print, television broadcast, DVD, theatrical release, the web, and computer-based presentation technology. This program will enhance students’ computer literacy and increase their communications skills as well as a personal portfolio in preparation for college, business and employment. Students should have a strong interest and desire to learn about Multi-Media technology, equipment, and theory. Students should possess a background in any of the following areas (but not limited to) art, computer design, creative writing, photography, film and video production, audio production, or computer technology. *Prior experience in Television and Film Production is NOT required to apply.
