There is a deep down comfort when you have integrity, and deep down discomfort when you dont. Thats why its important that my life on the outside (the life that everyone sees) begins with an inward life (the life that others dont see). In other words, integrity isnt just knowing the truth, its being true to what you know. Its the freedom and confidence that happens when you know people see an outside you that matches your inside you. Its a good feeling, and it starts all under. In scripture, Romans 7:22, He tells us For my inner self I joyfully agree with Gods law. But I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this dying body? I that God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself am a slave to the law of God, but with my flesh, to the law of sin. Father, grant me the strength to overcome the law of mind and let me be ever mindful of the law of You. Let my inner heart convey the love, mercy and grace that my outward appearance shows. Let me be a conduit for the Spirit to do Your work. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen
