There is a few things Im going to expect Enterprise to accomplish within the whole Star Trek franchise. The series itself is taking on a risky storyline. Considering it is pre Captain Kirk and is Star Fleets first warp 5 exploration ship. Captain Archer is going to be a tough role to pull off because he cant out do Captain Kirk. The franchise has already credited Kirk with so much that it will be easy to overdo Captain Archers character to outplay Kirk. Enterprise is going to have to establish the Human/Vulcan relationship that leads to the scenario explained through Spocks experiences. Vulcans joined the Federation and not vise versa. Though Vulcans still dont encourage joining Star Fleet. Vulcans prefer that other Vulcans join Vulcan science ships. While supporting the federation if needed. Enterprise is also going to have the task of developing the Federations values and protocol. I respect the tasks the Enterprise writers are taking on here but Im worried considering how much negative comments have been said about Enterprise. It will be really easy to mess up this role. Of course I hear negatives about them all ;)
