There is a first for everything! Today for the first time I decorated for Christmas (outside only) before Thanksgiving. Since we are only one block off Main Street where Christmas Open House begins tonight, my kids, especially Lil C insisted that we decorate for the crowds of people driving by. Today for the first time, I hung Christmas lights by myself (so well that Clay Peevyhouse thought I hired someone)! My awesome Mom (Brenda Tinker) hopped by and brought me the spectacular wreath over the door, and helped me wrestle the ladder while hanging the wreaths, and set up the porch decor! The kids and I had a blast decorating the yard, it was such JOY for my soul!
