There is a great deal of mystery in our lives. If there is no room for mystery in our lives as finite human beings, there is no need to put total trust in an infinite all-knowing God. Faith trusts God even if there is no obvious, rational evidence. We must trust and follow Gods lead in everything, because we do not know everything about ourselves, nor do we know everything about the world around us, nor do we know everything about God. We must always apply Proverbs 3:5-7 which says Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil.
