There is a group called Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) based in Washington, D.C., that represents predominately spoken language interpreters working in healthcare. They are offering a free webinar entitled, Infection Control and Industrial Safety for Medical Interpreters on January 9. This is actually a repeat of the original offering in late December. It is 90 minutes long and delivered via the web program GoToWebinar. I attended the initial offering and it was quite well done.
