There is a group of young people who are coming up behind us searching for good examples to follow; who are desperate for someone to teach them the right ways of life. This generation isnt interested in the do as I say not as I do method of training. They want to see it in practice in our lives. They want to see the evidence of right living. They want to see with their own eyes successful marriages, that hard work pays off, and that you dont have to say everything that your thinking all the time. They are looking for us to step up for their sake. What are we teaching them? What example are we setting for them? Today challenge yourself to live a life that can be emulated. Lets give the next generation examples worthy of duplication. But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, (Titus 2:1, 4-6) *But mostly, show them all this by doing it yourself, incorruptible in your teaching, your words solid and sane. (Titus 2:7 MSG)
