"There is a growing suspicion that Mar Roxas and Noynoy Aquino transform into one person during crisis situations since one disappears while the other hogs the limelight. This phenomenon again happened during the Zamboanga City crisis. Aquino arrived Friday Sept. 13 and was seen milling around the evacuation centers with refugees as a result of the clashes between government troops and the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) then was never seen nor heard from again, although his aides insisted that he was still in Zamboanga throughout the week until last Thursday. In his stead, Mar was touring the troubled city and was even negotiating with Habier Malik, the acknowledged leader of the MNLF group that laid siege on the city. Five days gone and still without a trace of Noynoy, Mar was being assaulted with questions about where the President really is and the reason for his long absence from public view. On Thursday, Noynoy reappeared and Mar seems to have faded from view. The two personas in one image might be deliberate, since the Liberal Party is already grooming Mar to take the place of Noynoy three years from now or incidental since Mar is trying to cover for something more grim than just the fact that Noynoy is being secured from the already contained rebellion of the MNLF."
