There is a lively discussion going on today on one of the popular A.T. Forums. There has been much commentary about cyber-bullying. It is my considered opinion that the people making this complaint cant distinguish being bullied and merely being dis-agreed with. This is the Internet, people. If you say outspoken, provocative things, well people are gonna respond to them. Deal with it. And if they do, please stop whining about being mis-treated or being bullied. Nobody has an inherent right to spout nonsense and then whine about being taken to task for it. Own your posts. This is one of the reasons everything Ive ever said on an Internet Forum has my real name on it. I realize I sometimes invite critical responses. Well guess what? I welcome this. But heres the news: Nobody is above reproach here, and the endless bleating about being bullied wear a little thin. You dont want to get taken to task for saying stupid or questionable things on Trail Forums or elsewhere? Um, gee whiz. Then dont say them.
