There is a man, named Roger Teale, who has spoken into my life for years. Actually since 1981 and tonight he sent me this... A newsletter mind you, but nevertheless from a friend in the Lord, whom I respect: I am confident The Lord will take care of us. This confidence is an assurance that is the result of having faith in the promises of God that are written in the scriptures. On our part we must be diligent and resolute in not allowing circumstances to wear us down and undermine our trust in what we have, and are, in Christ. Apply scriptural principles daily to maintain overcoming victory in your every day life. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4 (KJV) We must be on guard not to let fear have any control over us. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. . 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) The road ahead each one us face will demand choices that must be wisely taken. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. , 2 Corinthians 2:11 (KJV) Having been made a partaker in His divine nature we must use the authority He has given. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 (KJV) We are now seeing the events that Christ foretold would be taking place in the last days. Our responsibility is to redeem the time we have to apply ourselves to everything that we know is our duty to Him and others. Choices must be made that demonstrate that our priorities are centered on doing what God expects of us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35 (KJV Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 (KJV) I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. Psalms 3:4 (KJV) Our prayers are heard always. Our personal welfare is constantly monitored; His eyes and ears observe every word and action we make. Develop constant conversation by praying for, and about all things. Prayers for others also brings us into relationship one with another. Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16 (KJV) I write this praying that your faith will be encouraged and maintained. As Paul the apostle declared: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 (KJV) Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Psalms 145:2 (KJV) Roger and Emily Teale DONT QUIT, PRESS ON
