There is a meme doing the rounds about a lad from Sunderland who made a really stupid tweet about the tragic crash in Glasgow yesterday. It shows his face and name and the tweet. His address has also been given out. I have no doubt hell get a real kicking... he may even get killed, for making a stupid tweet. Does he deserve to be killed, just for saying something stupid? Well thats a morality question right there. Then you look at the source of the picture; North West Infidels. The north west infidels are a far right group of hate mongering neo nazis, they wish death and pain on all kinds of people who arent white, or are of different religions or are basically not them. They are just like the EDL and the like. They perpetually pump hatred into the world that is way more offensive than this stupid insensitive tweet. So why have they created this meme? Clickbait. Clickbait is the way that you can get higher traffic for your page, that makes it very hard to get your page closed down (if you are preaching hatred or the like), and you may squeeze some likes out of it... you certainly spread your doctrine. You create a meme that everyone will agree with (how many likes for X or remember this X) or people will be outraged by (pensioners are freezing, yet these immigrants get to live in a gold plated mansion on the moon!) and then release it, knowing it will get shared. Britain First are masters of this, and i see other racist hate pages are taking up the lead. I suspect this meme is clickbait... maybe that lad said that, but NorthWest Infidels say way worse every day... if he deserves to be targetted in trial-by-internet vigilante justice, why dont they? If you see something that creates an emotional response; please look at where it comes from; the name above the meme. If you agree with that page, share away, but be aware of how people will view you. If you agree with that image but not with the page or the group, just cut and paste the image. Dont be a victim of these nazi pricks.
