There is a movement in my street to push the council to fix a new playground in Braidwood. Those of You who travel to the Coast from Canberra will know our little park, with its broken bits. Its always packed with local and traveling kids. Its much too small for its needs. A man in my street has been speaking to a councillor and was told that the Pallerang Council spent $500k on travel for councillors last year. Thats half a million dollars and works out at about $55 per rate paying property in the district. Id totes be happy with my $55 rates money going to a new playground than those fat lazy bastards cruising five star airstrips and fancy motels. Not to mention paying for the potholes in my road! Bah! Im writing a letter to the Council - yeah sometimes I can get all formal and shit!
