There is a photo going around on local FB right now, snapped and shared by a woman named Jennifer Long whom I seem to share 46 FB friends with, of one of my former doula clients breastfeeding her son at Chik-Fil-A today. Apparently Ms. Jennifer Long felt the need to sneak a photo of this mom and then slam her via her FB page. First of all - Grow up. You dont like it- look the other way. You most certainly did not have to take a picture of her and share it, especially if the sight of the top of her breast(which I;m sure you show as cleavage with low cut shirts anyway) was so offensive to you and so culturally tainting why would you put it all over the internet if it is soooo vulgar and disgusting?? You, Jennifer Long, are a bully and not just a regular one- You are a woman-bullier, a woman that is bullying another woman for her role as a woman!! You should be ASHAMED of yourself and all your ignorant friends on FB making snarky, snide, ignorant comments should be ashamed as well. If you are among the 46 mutual friends we have PLEASE share this and get her to see it. She needs to be held accountable for her ugly behavior - That mother is a REAL PERSON with REAL FEELINGS and now she has to deal with you breastfeed-shaming her AND putting her INFANTs picture all over FB!!!! --- By the way- If you ARE going to put ugliness and bullying posts on FB, you might not want to list your employer prominently on your page. I know for a fact they have already received several emails regarding this issue.
