There is a powerful music event happening over Labor Day Weekend at Potters Farm in Washburn Wisconsin called Music Flows Through You II. Last year I attended as a participant and it was amazing. This year I was honored to be asked to be a facilitator and co-creator of songwriting. Everyone, from novice to experienced, is invited to join us in creative music circles. Let go of the container of music theory and embrace your unique creativity. Bring your own acoustic instruments or simply yourself with willingness to co-create. The weekend is designed to allow you to experience songwriting, flute, or a combination of what calls most to your heart’s creative flow. We will weave the voice with grandmother drum as well. Near the shores of Lake Superior in the Bayfield Peninsula, we’ll gather on the naturally inspiring sacred lands of Potter’s Farm, outside of Washburn, Wisconsin. Walk the Beauty Way through the labyrinth in silence upon the high meadow, or hike the back trails near our Medicine Wheel. The land offers many natural meditation areas as well.
